Los Angeles, Calif. — Loyola Marymount University is well on its way to having a banner year, receiving the most applications for fall freshman enrollment in its history. Applications are up a resounding 10 percent over last year, coming in at 13,221 students.
“I’m delighted to see the continued growth,” said Dr. Maureen Weatherall, Vice Provost for Enrollment Management. “I think it’s a testament to LMU’s commitment to academic excellence and our Jesuit values.”
LMU’s profile has been on the rise in recent years, and is currently ranked third by U.S. News and World Report among “Best Regional Universities in the (West).” Applications were received from 49 states and 100 different countries.
